SF Porch Festival - Featuring Dozens of Bands Performing for Free (Tips Encouraged) all Around the Mission - SF - June 7, 2025

It’s not possible to cover all the bands who perform at this remarkable San Francisco Music Festival! This year I had a great many friends and musical compadre’s performing so instead of putting myself in front of the unfamiliar (which I enjoy) I concentrated on sets by friends (which I also enjoy!) The Exceptions here were performances by The Happy’s and Sweet Lew - neither of which I’d seen before and both delighted me with their energy and musical skills…..

Sweet Lew - Tropicalia, blues and soul quintet led by an ace guitarist and singer!

Third Thursday Band - Classic Rock Jams with Mike Dingle and Pals

The Happy's - Subliminal - High Energy - Original Rock, Ska and Reggae w a few choice covers!

Sadie & The Strangers - Good Pals delivering bluegrass and country.

Mission Hill - More friends kickin’ off the fest with String band originals and more!
